About the Chef

 

 

Thank you for visiting my page, I'm very excited to share with you how I started my journey. My passion for cooking started when I had my first job as a prep cook in Detroit, Michigan. I loved the energy and excitement of the kitchen and wanted to further my education.

 

I moved to California to go to school at Le Cordon Bleu College of the Culinary Arts in San Francisco. During my time at school I was trained in various cuisines and techniques from around the world. After graduating from Culinary School I moved to Huntington Beach in 2006 and interned at The Hyatt Hotel downtown Huntington Beach. The hotel business was a great start, but I wanted to see what else was out there.

I worked in multiple 5 star restaurants in the Orange County area including Parker's Lighthouse in Long Beach and McCormick and Schmick's in Irvine.  Although I loved cooking in commercial kitchens, my passion lied in a more personal atmosphere. I traveled to Europe and took classes with amazing chefs in France and Italy. It was a wonderful experience that I will never forget.
